Principal looking forward to new academic year

Britannica looking forward to 50 per cent student increase

As we look forward to our new academic year at Britannica, our one resolution remains the same, which is to provide the best of British education for the children of Shanghai’s discerning parents.

Having now established ourselves as one of the lead providers of a British style education in the city our growing popularity means that we will be opening our doors on 18th August to a 50% increase in student population, an extra thirteen new British teachers and the opening up of an additional fifteen new ‘learning spaces’.

Some year groups are now at full capacity - a testament of our current parents’ confidence in our provision. The concept of personalised education will also remain at our core; with small classes, an inclusive policy with regards to the arts and sports and excellent facilities fully accessed by all pupils meaning that each individual pupil is given the opportunity to receive the best of British education, tailored to meet their specific learning needs.

With over 80 different After School Activities planned, expeditions and trips arranged for all year groups, and various parent and community events on the calendar it looks very much like it is going to be an exciting first term at Britannica.
