Find great restaurants to bring the kids in Shanghai
What makes a restaurant family-friendly? According to our panel of Mom & Dad experts, they look for:
A kid’s menu
Availability of high chairs, and a place to stash the stroller
Play room or place to stash the kids
Grown-up food and beverages
Friendly, accommodating staff
In Shanghai there are a few restaurants that consistently make the cut. We’ve “field-tested” all of these restaurants.
Haidilao. The famous hot pot brand features a staffed kid’s play room as well as roaming ayi’s who can look after your little one as you tuck into your Sichuan style hot pot. Free toys and even a change of clothes.
K11 Art Mall. Plenty of restaurants in the K11 Mall on Huaihai Road, just north of Xintiandi. The artwork around the building is fun, and restaurants such as Azul Urban (4F) and others all have kid's menus.
Garlic on Yongjiang Road has an entire kid's room in the basement.
Johnny Moo (jinqiao)
Flying Fox, also in Pudong
