Former student and AFL star drops in to mentor AIS students

As a part of Australian International School’s Mentors and Inventors program, Nicola Barr visited and spoke to students about her journey towards becoming the first Great Western Sydney 2016 AFL Women’s Draft player. Nicola studied at AIS from Prep to Year 6, consistently proving her sportsmanship.

She delivered inspirational talks to the Secondary and Upper Elementary students about determination, resilience and leadership. After school the children also had an opportunity to be coached by her to develop their skills and technique by playing a six-aside match with a professional AFL player.
